Training Specialist

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Training Specialist, Trainer or similar role
  • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
  • Have train the trainer certification
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate,  monitor and evaluate)
  • Experience with e-learning platforms
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelors degree in management or relevant streams

 

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with managers to determine training needs, or conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
  • map out annual training plans and schedule training sessions (outsource or in house)
  • Inform available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions
  • Maintain updated training resource database and training records
  • Prepare educational material such as module summaries, videos etc.
  • Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement
  • Conduct New hire orientation training
  • Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
  • Conduct basic soft skills training on communication skill, presentation skill etc.
  • Be able to provide  basic product and business information related trainings
